 Tongue Twister in Japanese is 早口言葉 (Hayakuchi Kotoba) – literally, “fast mouth words”

 There are many Tongue Twisters in Japanese! Just like in English, you shouldn’t think too deeply about the meaning because they were just made to sound silly!

The Raw Tongue Twister

 生麦 (なまむぎ – nama-mugi) means “raw wheat,” 生米 (なまごめ – nama-gome) means “raw rice,” and 生卵 (なまたまご – nama-tamago) means “raw egg.”

 The only way to get good at tongue twisters is to practice saying them out loud many times! Watch the video a few times and try practicing saying this tongue twister on your own!
