Today sensei taught us about Miso soup. Did you know that it is called 味噌汁 (miso shiru) in Japanese? Japanese people like to eat miso shiru every day!

味噌汁 (miso shiru) is a traditional Japanese soup made of dashi (fish stock) and miso paste. There are a variety of other ingredients that can be added to miso soup, including tofu, wakame, and green onions. Depending on region, season, and personal taste, different ingredients may be used.
